Pictures that tell a story

"We're like that leaf there." she said, pointing at the river. "How so?" She frowned. "We're forever swept along by a current we can't control." "But we have the ability to change direction of our own choice. We aren't helpless." We both stared at the water. Neither of us believed.





For this task we were asked to take three photographs which described a short story. My story was about two people watching leaves float down the river and discussing how they represent paths in life. I quite like my images however I don't think they do a great job of describing the story above.
