We had a few packets of sparklers left so I thought that it would be really interesting to light them all together and capture what would appear to be an 'explosion of light'. I placed each sparkler individually into this potato and bent them all together into a point. I ignited the sparklers with my mum's cooking blow torch and started to take photographs - I had to be very quick because the flames were burning down the sparklers very rapidly. I think these pictures are very different and I like the way that I have captured the beams of light.
